Grease is the word at the Carnegie

Theatergoers are having a ball with the retro musical Grease, the final production of The Carnegie in Covington, Kentucky. Helmed and choreographed by director Eric Byrd, it’s a cast full of promising talent from UC’s CCM and other fine university musical theater training programs. The dancing is nonstop, and the audience is inspired by the vibrant production from start to finish with enthusiasm — often singing along and doing “The Hand-Jive.” It’s a blast from the past that’s entertained audiences for five decades, and The Carnegie has the right formula for entertainment.
