Cincinnati Public Radio’s new home

On Tuesday, April 29, Cincinnati Public Radio — the operator of NPR affiliate WVXU-FM 91.7 (and WMUB-FM 88.5) and classical music station WGUC-FM 90.9 — departed from its longtime home on Central Parkway in downtown Cincinnati for a new, state-of-the-art facility on Dana Avenue in Evanston, not far from the Xavier University Campus. It used a new construction technology, “mass timber,” as part of the construction process.

I wrote an in-depth cover story for Cincinnati CityBeat about CPR’s new headquarters, its design and possibilities for expanded impact on the Greater Cincinnati community. Here’s a link to my story. Give it a read, stop by for a visit and — above all — listen and support!
